The Thermopads Electric Underfloor Heating foil heating mat system is universally accepted as safe and easy to install, offering comfortable warmth to a wooden floor without causing warping and cracking due to overheating.
The aluminium foil mat is ultra-thin to provide a low profile in the floor. It is primarily for use under laminates and engineered wood floating floors.
Floors must be fitted floating and must not be glued or nailed down. Tongue and groove wooden floors that are not click together must be glued along the joints. No metal fixings are permitted. Most wood flooring manufacturers have approved flooring products suitable for underfloor heating systems. Always check with the manufacturer.
Easy Installation
The foil mats carry the heating elements uniformly spaced and sandwiched between layers of reinforced aluminium to give evenly distributed heat.
The foil mat is 500mm wide. Installations are completed in a short time due to the ease of rolling out the matting side by side. The mat can be cut and turned with ease to run in strips side by side.

Please choose an electric underfloor heating mat that will cover 90% of your floor area. It is best to order slightly less than you need than have too much as the cables CAN NOT be cut or shortened.
